Finish every project within its fee.
Revisions and extra requests can use up a fee long before the drawings are done. Aptic compares hours with each phase's fee, finds extra work worth billing, and helps plan your team across projects. Design decisions stay with your architects.

Where Aptic helps
Three questions worth answering.
Our consultants and AI agents answer them from your own records, then act on the answer within the limits you set.
Which projects are running over their fee?
Compare hours used with the fee for each phase, while there is still time to act.
How much extra work goes unbilled?
Find client changes made after sign-off without an agreed extra fee.
Who has room for the next project?
See each person's booked hours across projects for the weeks ahead.
An example
More projects won. Less earned on each.
What these numbers suggest when read together.
-
Project budgets
Design phase over its fee on 7 of 12 open projects, by 28% on average
-
Timesheets
Hours on client revisions after sign-off up 45%, none billed as extra work
-
Proposals
Win rate up from 30% to 46% since fees were cut by 10%
Recommended next step
Lower fees are winning more work, and revisions after sign-off are being done for free. Log every change after sign-off, agree a fee for it before the work starts, and review hours used against each phase's fee every two weeks.
Confidence: Medium-high. Timesheets and project budgets show the overruns directly. Whether the lower fees explain the higher win rate is less certain, and the next round of proposals tests it. Winning more work only helps if each project stays within its fee.

Straight answers
Common questions.
Does Aptic review drawings?
No. Design decisions, and anything that needs an architect's sign-off, stay with your team. Aptic works on the business side: fees, hours, staffing, and billing.
Can Aptic bill clients for extra work?
Aptic can prepare change requests and invoices for extra work. Whether they wait for approval or go out on their own depends on the limits you set. Aptic never moves money.
Does it work with our project management software?
Aptic works with common project management, timesheet, and accounting tools, and with exports where there is no direct connection. See Integrations for details.
